Eurohold reported steady business growth for the first half of 2026
03.09.2026
Eurohold Bulgaria, a leading energy and financial group in South-Eastern Europe (represented in Ukraine by two insurance companies — Euroins Ukraine and European Travel Insurance), reported stable growth in its energy business and significantly strengthened its capital structure in the first half of 2026.
The holding’s consolidated revenue from the distribution, supply and trading of electricity rose by 15.3 per cent year-on-year to €759.9 million. Operating profit before interest, taxes and depreciation (EBITDA) for the energy division fell to €98.5 million; however, higher financial income and lower financial expenses led to a 12 per cent increase in profit before tax — to over €46 million. Net profit for the energy business for the half-year rose by 10% compared with the same period in 2025, reaching €40.2 million.
Thanks to a successful two-stage increase in Eurohold’s authorised capital in June — as a result of which the holding company raised €266.3 million and the share premium reserve increased by €133.5 million — the company’s equity rose by almost 4.5 times, to €889.3 million. This significantly reduced the group’s debt burden, whilst the holding company’s assets doubled to €3.3 billion.
Eurohold’s total net financial result for the first half of 2026, taking into account all areas of activity, amounted to €42.3 million.
