Eurohold significantly increases revenue and profitability in the first half of 2025

Eurohold Bulgaria AD, a leading energy and financial group operating in Southeast Europe, increased its revenue by 22.4% year-on-year to BGN 1.57 billion (EUR 802 million) and significantly improved its profitability indicators in the first half of 2025, according to the holding's consolidated financial statement for the period.
The operating profit before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased by 30% compared to January-June last year to BGN 217 million (EUR 111 million). The net financial result quadrupled on the year to BGN 73 million (EUR 37.3 million) in the first six months of 2025. The group's assets rose by 6.5% on the year to BGN 2.93 billion (EUR 1.5 billion).
Revenue from energy operations, which accumulates a large part of the holding's business, amounted to BGN 1.29 billion (EUR 659 million) in January-June, up by 26% compared to the first half of the previous year. EBITDA from the same operations decreased by about 12% on the year to BGN 133.4 million (EUR 68.2 million). Revenue and EBITDA from insurance activities increased by 8.9% and 52.3% respectively on the year to BGN 285.5 million (EUR 146 million) and BGN 12.3 million (EUR 6.3 million). The financial and investment segment of the group's business recorded revenue growth and positive profit.
Eurohold operates in the energy and insurance sectors via Electrohold Group and Euroins Insurance Group, while financial and investment services are provided through its Euro-Finance unit.
