The management of Euroins Ukraine took part in the 6th German-Ukrainian Economic Forum, which opened in Berlin on 24 October 2023. The company was represented by the Chairman of the Board Yanko Nikolov and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board Myroslav Boichyn.
The Business Forum in Berlin brought together more than 500 participants interested in investment opportunities in Ukraine. It is an important step in the run-up to the international conference on Ukraine's recovery, Recovery Ukraine, which is scheduled for next June in Berlin.
The forum was attended by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz, German and Ukrainian ministers and business leaders, primarily from the energy and infrastructure sectors. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy delivered a video address to the participants.
"Despite the emergency situation caused by the war, it is very important for us to develop cooperation between Ukrainian and German companies. Permanent assistance can only be achieved if we integrate Ukrainian suppliers and client companies more closely into the European and German economic cycle," said Peter Adrian, President of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
"Despite the war, about 10 investment projects have already started, and German companies are now applying for investment guarantees from the federal government with 30 additional projects. Reconstruction has begun, and German companies are joining in," said Christian Bruch, Deputy Chairman of the Eastern Committee.
Christian Bruch also noted that the risks of war can be controlled, especially in the western and central parts of the country, but more attractive public and private financing offers are needed, as well as insurance solutions for transport through Ukraine.
"We are ready to participate in Ukraine's reconstruction projects together with our German and European partners," said Yanko Nikolov, Chairman of the Board of Euroins Ukraine, "The company has a high level of financial reliability, support from European shareholders, expertise and experience in insuring the infrastructure and transport sectors."
The participation of Euroins Ukraine in the Forum was made possible by the EU4Business programme, initiated by the European Union and the German government with the support of the European Business Association (EBA).
