Myroslav Boichyn — winner of the ‘Insurance Market Leader of the Year’ title

We are delighted to share some news that the entire ‘Euroins Ukraine’ team is proud of. Myroslav Boichyn has won the ‘Insurance Market Leader of the Year’ award as part of the 30th anniversary edition of the nationwide ‘Person of the Year – 2025’ programme.

Myroslav Boichyn is an expert with over 20 years’ experience in the insurance sector. Since 2006, he has held the position of Chairman of the Management Board of “European Travel Insurance” (ETI), and since August 2026 he has also headed the Management Board of “Euroins Ukraine” — so he now directly manages the operations and is responsible for the strategic development of both companies.

Myroslav Boichyn holds three higher education qualifications and has many years’ experience with leading international insurance groups such as Generali, Munich Re and EIG. From 2021 to 2026, he also served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ‘Euroins Ukraine’. His new role as Chairman of the Management Board is a logical continuation of this path and brings together the strategic management of the group’s two companies.

The figures speak for themselves: even in 2025, despite the war, the number of ETI’s insured customers exceeded one million. The company remains the only specialist insurer in Ukraine that is part of the international ITIA group, which brings together 17 specialist insurance companies from around the world.

But Myroslav Boichyn’s work is not just about figures and awards. Under his leadership, ETC and ‘Euroins Ukraine’ support social and charitable initiatives that help the Ukrainian military.

The ‘Insurance Market Leader of the Year’ award is not only recognition of Myroslav Boichyn’s personal contribution, but also confirmation that the teams at ‘Euroins Ukraine’ and ETI are moving in the right direction.
